Site visits are much more than just technical meetings. They provide an opportunity for direct consultation, shared learning experiences and an open view of how a project is being implemented. At T&P - Part of SIERA They are therefore part of a collaborative effort that combines expertise, responsibility and team spirit.
Staff from the planning, project management and construction teams came together during a joint visit to a building site. On site, they discussed the current status of projects, examined technical details and shared practical experiences from day-to-day construction work. The day highlighted how important face-to-face discussion is for finding viable solutions in environmental engineering and project implementation.
Direct dialogue leads to better solutions
Complex projects are not created solely at a desk. They develop through a combination of planning, coordination and practical implementation on site. Direct dialogue helps to identify requirements at an early stage, bring different perspectives together and make decisions in a transparent manner.
The highlights of the site visit included, amongst other things:

Team spirit even off site
Following the professional discussions, the day continued with a cycle ride through the countryside in fine weather. The change of scenery, away from the daily routine of the building site, provided an opportunity for conversation, fresh air and personal interaction.
The day concluded with a group visit to the beer garden. In a relaxed atmosphere, everyone was able to reflect on the day’s events and continue discussions about their day-to-day work. Moments like these strengthen relationships within the team and build trust, which is also important in challenging project situations.
